
The Witches Cove is a board game that was designed all in Illustrator. The objective of the game is to escape from the witches cove but along the way there is potions and curses. These could either be positive or negative depending on the card.

The Witches Cove is a board game designed to be played by kids’ ages +8. The whole board was designed using only Adobe Illustrator and then printed on vinyl. The pieces for the game are made by a 3-D printer. The dimensions for the board game are 28.2 x 15.5 in.
I was inspired by color palettes and game boards that I saw on Pinterest. The board has an earth color tone palette that would complement the 3-D mountain areas that are on the board. I intended to create a flat, 2-dimensional look for this board. The board is themed after a mountain/forest area. This allowed for the setting of the board to come together more as a narrative.
The objective of the game is for the players to escape the witch before she gets them. Along the way there are both potions and curse spaces.
Potions:Weapon to fight off the witch if she lands on you.
Invincibility towards other player and witch.
Can send the player forward (x) amount of space.
Curses: Can send the player back (x) amount of spaces.
Lose their turn.
Allows them to switch spaces with players around them.
